I'm disappointed in this purchase because I had high hopes. DO NOT think you can stretch the covers much at all--they will break. This happened on the first day for me and I was really surprised. Also if it is slightly to large for what it is to cover, it doesn't conform in any way so isn't at all airtight. Thus, you have to have bowls or food that is essentially the exact size of whatever you want to cover. I'm still using the ones that have not broken and like them well enough but can't recommend this product because of the quality and the limitations. :( I'm the one that is sorry the product wasn't better quality.I have yet to find a bowl for them to fit. They are a great idea, but seem too big or small for all things I have tried!These are super stretchy, good quality silicone. Very handy and I am quite happy with them. Using them on a square container does not fit or stretch to fit quite as well as I had hoped, but for round containers they are perfect. If you have lots of broken Anchor lids like I do, then they are an acceptable replacement and so, no need to waste plastic wraps all time.The quality of the product surpriesed me. My best friend kept raging about them, but her idea of a good product and mine are way off. I’m much more critical and pay attention to detail. To shut her up.. and honestly to prove her wrong I ordered them. Yup.. I was wrong! They were all she said and more. Durable, stretchable, leak proof, easy to clean, long lasting and something I use everyday day. I use them on glass bowls and odd shaped bowl and plastic bowls the lid fairy stole. I’m a fan for life!stretches a lot to fit almost everything. tight snug fit doesn't leak
