If you ever buy regular pop corn at the store and you tear into the bag before you pop it. You'll see inside a large mass of yellowy-white wax substance embedded with kernels on top.If you seen the YouTube Channel (WHATS INSIDE) they did that part for you and they show the waxy oily chemical substance you will end up eating!This brand which I now like, very simple.A Bag Of Kernels.Microwave it, pour in oil and shake.Then pour in flavoring and shake.Then eat it.I got the Maple Kettle because it sounded good, next time I'll get the Butter and Sea salt.Note I was slightly disappointed seeing it is "more expensive" then (Regular) microwaved pop corn. Being 1 box has 2 bags of pop corn.But regardless it is healthier then biting into a brick of chemical substance... or on the store bought bags chemical names you can't even pronounce on the bag.If you love pop corn and think it's a great idea to see someone make a product that is healthier, then give it a try!Why else are all the store bought name brand pop corn so cheap? Oh, that's because they load it down in chemicals and bad stuff to make you un-healthier.This is a justifiable fair price being it uses non GMO Corn and everything else above.Note to user* when you make a review or buy this item.NOTE* You need a Microwave, this does not pop it self. As per 39 of the 1 star reviews... microwave not included.I used to be able to get this at my local grocery store and they stopped carrying this particular flavor. I've really liked it and missed it until I saw it on Amazon and decided to order some. It is a little pricey, but it is delicious!!!I had fond memories of eating microwave popcorn as a kid but not so fond memories of the gross chemical excess that were often a part of those microwaveable popcorn bags. I saw all the great reviews and decided to give this product a shot. The “just sea salt” flavor tastes great and feels healthy. I have yet to try the other flavors but my sense is that the just sea salt flavor is as natural tasting as it gets.At first, there is a process of trial and error in trying to get the right time to microwave the bag for. I found that around 2 minutes works for me. However, there are some inconsistencies. The same cooking time won’t produce as many popped vs. unpopped kernels each time, but roughly should be the time to aim for.All in all, Quinn microwave popcorn delivers on its premise of offering wholesome, natural yet tasty and binge-worthy popcorn that should satisfy those looking for a healthy and delicious snack.I was excited to try this popcorn. The flavor sounded delicious. I tried it when I received it and was very disappointed. There is literally no flavor. I haven’t eaten the other bags and its just sitting in my pantry now. :-(Silly me, I somehow missed the "toppings" on my first bag of popcorn and could not figure out why this popcorn was so bland! So when I realized my mistake and tried out my second bag, I was able to taste what I was missing! Very yummy but definitely oily! I omitted just a tad bit of oil, but even still my hands were incredibly greasy. It is difficult to spread the seasoning and oil throughout the whole bag evenly, so you will have some bits more tasty and other more bland. I shook it, but oil doesn't quite spread that well and the seasoning is going to automatically stick to the oily parts first.I would purchase this again for sure (and remember the toppings next time!) I'd recommend going light on the oil and seasoning the first time and adjust as needed. The rosemary flavor is strong, but as someone who quite enjoys a strong herbal taste, I didn't mind it.Overall, it was very tasty. I'd choose this brand over normal "non-organic" brands. The directions are on the bag the popcorn is in. The box has unclear directions and the first bag I made I did incorrectly because I didn't see the directions on the bag. The other "regular" brands are easier--you just put in microwave and heat, then it's done. With this brand you have to first pop the corn and then you pour in the oil and then the seasoning. Then you have to shake it really, really well. It was a bit messy, but I think worth the hassle when you consider how unhealthy the other regular grocery store brands are.Yummm! Love this popcorn!
